There’s a bit of everything across Weymouth and Portland this weekend, whether you want live music, something creative, or just an excuse to get out.

Friday starts with Open Mic Night at Dry Dock, George Hall and Amy Mayes Band at St Nicholas Church, plus Genesis Connected at Weymouth Pavilion and Karaoke Friday at The Duke of Albany. Stompin’ Dave is over at The Royal Portland Arms later on.

Saturday spreads right across the town. The Holistic Fair at The Upwey Wishing Well, Repair Cafe at Southill Community Centre, and the Emerging Artist Exhibition at Stepford Studios if you want something quieter. Into the evening, Weymouth Soul Club, The UK Rock Show at Weymouth Pavilion, and live bands across venues including The Kings Arms, The Black Dog, Wyke Regis Social Club and Hardy’s Hophouse. There’s also a paranormal investigation at Nothe Fort.

Sunday keeps things moving with Park Yoga at Lodmoor, the Farmers and Makers Market in town, and a photography workshop at the Wild Chesil Centre. Live music continues through the day, alongside bingo, a beach party disco, and Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club at Weymouth Pavilion.

There are 35+ events across the weekend, so you can keep it local and still find something new each day.

Have a scroll, make a plan, and see where you end up.

Something good is happening.
