If you are heading out this weekend, there is plenty of live music waiting across Weymouth and Portland.

Friday (17 April)

A strong mix to start things off.

Open Mic Night at Dry Dock if you feel like stepping up or just seeing what unfolds.

Rob Davis and The Thirsty Ferrets both at The Kings Arms.

Pronghorn take over The Black Dog, while Lewis Snarey plays Nautico Lounge.

Reggae with Neil Sartain brings something different to the Centenary Club, and Fade Aways are at The Waterloo.

Saturday (18 April)

Saturday covers a lot of ground.

Richard Cooper plays an acoustic set at The Edinburgh House of Sounds.

Matt Taylor and Balance of Power both appear at The Black Dog.

There is a Live Jazz Night with Dr Jazz at St Andrew’s.

Carley Varley plays Sticks and Bones, while Finns hosts Ghosts of Seattle with a full 90s grunge set.

Buck Wild Country arrive at The Rock Hotel.

The Kings Arms hosts The Stickets, so expect a full room there.

Sunday (19 April)

Sunday brings a softer landing.

Karen’s Fun Club at The Duke of Cornwall if you are in the mood for something playful.

Sunday Sessions at Chapelhay Tavern are always a good way to spend a few hours.

Finn plays The Kings Arms, and Zoe Schwarz and Rob Koral close the weekend at The Royal Portland Arms.

Plenty to explore, whether you are planning ahead or just seeing where the evening takes you.

Something good is happening.
