Never been to a Ceilidh? Here’s what to expect…
What is a Ceilidh? Pronounced “Kaylee”, it’s a relaxed, sociable dance night with live music — no experience needed!
Is there music? Yes! A lively four-piece folk band will be playing all evening.
Will I know what to do? Definitely — there’s a caller who walks everyone through the steps and keeps shouting instructions during the dances. It’s all about joining in and having fun!
How much is it? £10 per ticket, maximum 4 per person (to keep things fair).
How to buy:
Email:cllrclaudia.webb@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk Just say how many tickets you’d like (up to 4). We’ll reply with BACS details. Once payment lands, you’ll receive screenshot tickets to print or show on your phone.
